Terms of use

These terms are between you and Curtis Keller ("we"). By using Joey Tracker you agree to them. How we handle your information is in the privacy notice.
1. What Joey Tracker is
Joey Tracker is a record-keeping tool for parents and caregivers. It does not diagnose, give medical advice or replace a doctor or nurse. If you are worried about your child's health, or your own, contact a health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
2. Who can use it
You must be an adult (18 or older where you live) to use Joey Tracker or create an account.
3. With or without an account
- You can use Joey Tracker on one phone with no account. Your records then exist only on that phone and in any copy you save.
- With an account, your records are kept on our service and shared with every phone signed in to it. Everyone signed in to the account sees and can change all of its records. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and the caregivers you share care with.
- You are responsible for what you record, and you must have the right to record information about the children you add.
4. The free trial and the one-time unlock
- Joey Tracker is free for 14 days from its first launch on a phone. After that, beginning a new record needs the one-time unlock.
- The unlock is a single purchase through Google Play or the App Store at the price the store shows. There is no subscription and nothing else is sold.
- The unlock belongs to the store account that bought it. Use Restore purchase on any phone signed in to that store account. With a Joey Tracker account, it also unlocks every phone signed in to that account.
- Payment, refunds and the store's own terms are handled by Google Play or the App Store. Deleting your Joey Tracker account neither refunds nor removes the unlock.
- Reading, changing, exporting, restoring and deleting your records never stop, during or after the trial, whether or not you buy the unlock.
5. Your records
Your records belong to you. You can save a readable copy or a backup at any time, and delete any of them, or your whole account, in the app or by asking us. We use your records only to provide the app to you.
Keep your own backups. A backup locked with a passphrase cannot be opened by anyone, us included, if the passphrase is lost.
6. Using the service fairly
Do not misuse the service: do not try to get into other people's accounts, interfere with the service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why where we can.
7. Changes, and if the service closes
- We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters to you, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
- If we close the online service, we will announce it at least 90 days ahead. The app keeps working on your phone: nothing recorded is erased, an unlock stays and the whole app is unlocked, reminders, export and restore keep working, and only sharing between phones stops. After a closure, app updates stop. Our copy of your records is deleted within 30 days after the end.
8. Our responsibility
We work to keep Joey Tracker accurate and available, but it is provided as it is.
